BRAMHALL'S GOT TALENT
5 STAR TALENT's 16th semi-annual Dance & Drama Showcase!
Saturday 27th April 2024
After months of rehearsing, it's time for the 5 STAR TALENT show! YEAH!!
Dancers will perform hip hop and pop dance routines and perform acting scenes from Peter Pan.
The Talent show venue is The Centre in Poynton, 107 Park Lane, Poynton, SK12 1RB.
The Talent show will start at 5.30pm. Doors will open for the audience at 5.20pm.
MEGASTAR performers have all been given theatre job roles. There will be 7 students assisting with taking names at the door and showing audience members to their seats. Tickets are in the performers name that you are coming to watch.
The venue does not have a licenced member of staff available to run the bar. You're very welcome to bring your own drinks and refreshments. The venue does have a car park. If the car park becomes full, the Waitrose car park is less than a 5 minute walk.
Performers are arriving at the Centre for a rehearsal before the show at different times depending on what class they are in. A text with the performers arrival time has already been sent.
What do performers need to bring?
*5 STAR TALENT tops & white cargo pants
*Any props that the actors require
*PLENTY of Drinks & Food!!
Performers will be wearing their 5 STAR TALENT tops with their white cargo pants.
Hair should be tied back off the face. Ponytails are good. Absolutely no buns! :)
We dance hip hop, street and commercial (pop) so want the performers to look the part.
Short hair that can't be tied back, will need a headband to keep it out of the performer's eyes.
Make sure the performer's hair is done at home. Performers are not required to wear any make up unless they want to.
Name any hoodies or clothing that the children may take off.
If any grown-ups can help to set out the audience chairs when they drop off their performer, that would be great. It will take less than 10 minutes if we have lots of helpers and you'll save the children the job.
If a student is asthmatic, they should bring their inhaler with them.
If a student has allergies that require urgent medication, please make sure they have it with them to give to the teacher.
We're excited for you to watch all the talented children. Some have been attending for months and some have attended years. All of them are at different stages in their performers journey.
Let's make them feel super special and clap for each and every one of them as if they were our own.
